Except, miraculously, I can finish my assignments by tomorrow, which is 28, I probably can upload another video before March.

Another pointless entry, but really, my other entries are pretty much pointless too :p

Today is my first time ever getting fortune cookies, because I can't ever find them. But, today I'm trying out this new chinese bistro with a friend and they give you a fortune cookie per meal :)

Didn't take any photos since I didn't bring my camera and I know I will not like the result if I use my mobile phone. So, I think I'll go there again next saturday along with other friends too cos the price is really reasonable and will take picture then~

Yup, I realize this is a pointless post, but I just, for one time, want to post twice in a day :p

my first katsu!!

Hmm, I guess the title already give it all..

I made my first ever chicken katsu \(^o^)/

For a cook noob like me, it's a big deal, okay. For the 1st semester I'm away from home (I'm starting 2nd semester now), I've never really cooked meat, like fresh meat. I usually used luncheon meat, hot dog, nugget, all those yummy unhealthy stuffs :p. Reason is I got confuse what kind of meat I have to buy, there are so many cuts -___-"...

Enough with the background story...here it is..

I know it doesn't look good, but it's quite yummy, I'm gonna give it 3/5 :D

The french fries a bit tough though 'cos I fried it first and by the time I'm done with my katsu it was already dry --" and I think it's just the way I fried it wrongly (see, total cooknoob. Can't even fry frozen french fries)...1.5/5!

Anyway, I got a bit carried away by my first katsu, I decided to make one again a couple days after that.

If you think you see two same picutes, trust me, they're different. I cannot decide which one better.

Much better than the first one, yes? This one I put dendeng and cheese inside. yums ^^. 4/5!

And the french fries, they're like perrrfectly fried! Crunchy outside and soft inside. Cooking goddess must've accompany me in the kitchen. I give it 4.5/5! I would've given it 5/5, but then you might think I'm being bias and over-selfproud.

Hmm..

Oh, well, screw that. Because I AM damn proud of myself *vain overload*!! I give it a freaking 5/5!!

I'm using bulldog sauce mixed with tomato ketchup. The taste is okay. Gonna try adding pepper next time ~(^-^~)(~^-^)~

Diana's 19th

Okay, let's start this entry...

For her 19th birthday, Diana treated me, Sam, Jan, and Sara to this french vintage restaurant called Nanny's Pavillon. Right now, they have a total of 7 branch. What unique about them is that each branch has its own theme and all of them have this nice vintage homey feeling attached. So far, the themes are garden, living room, library, bathroom, terrace, barn, and the newest is sewing room.

I've been to the library one before and it was so nice with all the faux books, book's shelf, etc etc.
Seriously, check them out. They have quite of an ambiance~ the food is good too. I'm gonna say 8/10, but for the pancakes variety, 9/10. Their apple pancake and peanut butter pancake is really good. On the other hand, the price is quite high for a student like me >.<.

Anyway, let's move on, I feel like I'm advertising them -___-"...we went to the BARN branch~

The second floor, where we ate. They have this glass wall, so the lightning is perfect for camwhoring in the morning to afternoon, even evening, and will be kinda romantic for dinner!

Now, let's move on to the stars of this entry. The food, of course ^^ (aside from diana)...
p.s. all of the judgement are merely based on my taste :p

Both Diana and Sam ordered this beef baked rice. 3.5/5 'cos I'm not huge fan of brown sauce, but Diana like this one the most out of all the dishes we ordered.

Mine! Auntie's sausage baked rice. 3.7/5. It's really good at the beginning, but towards the last couple of spoons it started to get a bit nauseating, because it has a little too much white sauce to my liking.

Jan's rim's tuna with rice. The photo really looks salivating, isn't it? I forgot how it tastes though. It was nice, I guess.

Sara's. Hubert's chicken capers fettucini. 4/5. This is my most favourite one that we ordered, the melted cheese and the chicken is so good :9.

Nanny's cocktail in blueberry and mango. Have a lot of fruit bits in them, and we agreed that the mango one is yummier.

And the birthday girl with her tiramisu tart.

Sam got the first cake 'cos he was the one had been really busy planning the surprise, gifts, cake and all.

The already defiled birthday cake. It's from dapur cokelat and it tastes really amaaaahhziing~~~ 4.6/5 ! I ate a few slices even though I was already quite full. It just melted in your mouth like little pieces of clouds <3

Here it is..the valentine's day nail art I talked about before...

I've actually uploaded it this morning, and gleefully went to campus for final exam, went to watch movie after that and had fun and stuff..

Then, I get home at like 9 pm ish...to realize...the video already got 66 views, 2 comments, and 5 likes!! in 1 day!

That's a lot for me okay... *teary eyes*..

But then..the horror...I saw weird comment about how the video is only same shot for 5 minutes, so I went ahead and watched it..apparently, there's some error in the uploading process that the video ruined... T.T...

So, I try to upload another one..still corrupted...

Deciced to shrink the video quality from HD to this video right now...and I succeeded in uploading it!!

I don't know what's wrong, but I can't seem to upload HD video ><..

I really am thanksful for this open wide collaboration. from the bottom of my heart!

Met up with my friends from high school last week cos I got back to my hometown for christmas and newyear holiday :)

Tried this new eating place. The price range is quite high for me though. Oh, well, once in a bluemoon is no problem, right?

My duck rice set!! I think it's around Rp 40k? the kailan is a lil' tough to chew and the duck is ok. *definitely not the best 40k I've spent on food*

Detta's duck noodles. Duck is the same as mine? noodles and soup is quite tasteless --".

Yudhis's...I think this is either chicken fried rice or duck fried rice. Didn't try the meat, but the fried rice is good!! It's like chinese style fried rice one. Best order overall.

Don't think I'm gonna be back to this place.

(and no, I won't say the place's name. Later they'd think I'm bad-mouthing them, then sue me how?)

Walked around and stopped at cupcakes stall. believe it or not, this is my first time trying cupcake with frosting and all!

Bought the sweet plum potato cos it's the cheapest. 10k only and got a lot portion of it. It's perfect for movies snacks. I also love their XXL chicken. Always try to sneak it into the theater :p

Starbucks!! Tried their holiday drinks. Peppermint Mocha. nice!

Then, went to gramedia and bought this book by Raditya Dika that supposedly is funny. I've read his first and third book and they're cracked me up.

Oh oh! and lastly...gifts from Detta and Yudhis for my birthday last december =)

I just got back from family trip to Bali exactly at 10.30pm =) *blog about it soon

Had a lot of fun today.

Ate ramen at Ajisen. First time ate the ramen here. It's nice!! drank the soup till all gone. Got pic of it but too lazy to copy from phone. tmw will edit =)

Went to Grace's house and did discrete math and linear algebra with Diana, Jan, and Sam. She got 6 pomeranian dogs!! Sooo cute can melt you.lol.
Again, got photo of the dogs but too lazy :p.
And went home and got to boarding house at 9.30pm O.o... lucky, there's no strict rule about curfew \(^o^)/

Tiring day but really happy overall!!

Thought that I had one of those when I listened to this song, but come to think about it, don't think so. Because I let go for a good reason and the reason has not changed since :). Not even in another life I would change my decision.

My life has been quite boring this lately. thus nothing to blog about. It's just assignment after assignment -__-"...

I just did the web programming assignment. Not done yet, though. The css alone took me 3 freaking hours!! Still have to do the html and javascript T.T~ gonna continue tmw. Already too tired and my eye are red right now!! @.@"

Guilty Pleasure

Have you ever had a guilty pleasure?
And no, I'm not talking about food here. I'm talking about a person.
A person that you know will bring you no good, but you still want 'em in your life anyway. Then, you'll feel guilty after you let them be.

I bet most of you had.

It sucks to have this sort of guilty pleasure. Worse than food!!!

I've had it once.
And in my case, it's my ex (well, most of cases is). After we broke up, I kept having this urge to call him or text him to just talk things out. I tried and tried to not give in. I succeed most of the time, but there were times when it's just so hard because I really missed him.

At day, I'm perfectly fine cos I'd always try to keep myself busy and be surrounded by people. At night, I'd just suddenly become this really fragile person that I swear, I HATE so much. Many times I reached for my phone, but then put it back again. I kept telling myself that I will definitely regret it if I give in. At times, it worked. At other times, it didn't. I texted. And surely, the next morning, I regret it big time and guilt started to bite the hell out of me.

Why did I regret it? Because I put on so much effort to forget and move on. And texting him means I just blew off all my efforts then I'll have to start all over again.
I'll have to start distant myself all over again. I hate it.

And it makes me hate myself even more for being weak.

I've always found it weird when people sobbing their eyes out for days just because of an ex. I'd be like "Just move on for godsake!! You're only wasting your time and tears!! Don't be such a wuss!" And to think that I was one of them was just killing me inside. I hate being hopeless and weak just because of a guy. It's like wasting my time and all. It's something I deemed to be useless. I hate to make t a big fuzz if it just a guy. But, I guess it's true that you do need to mourn just a lil' bit. you just can't help it, you know?

I just couldn't wait to get over you. To get rid of this fucking guilty pleasure.

And now, I'm glad I've done it. I got over you. I'm glad I didn't just give in to my guilty pleasure (after many failures try -__-").

You're not my guilty pleasure anymore. I can say that for sure now =)

p.s. blogging in the morning..that's new :p
p.p.s. wow, I just write a whole entry about my personal feeling. That's damn new!!! I've always feel a bit weird about it. But whatevs, it's my blog anyway :p

NOTD - Summer Nautical

This is a nail art that I did over a year ago =)
I think this is one of my best nail art in the earlier time I got into nail art~

Oh, and just FYI, everytime I blog about NOTD, that'd mean that I don't have ANYthing else to blog :p...
That's why I post them one by one. I have LOADS of them because I mostly do my nails once a week, even twice a week sometimes when I have no social life.lol. It's like my urgent archive.

I used a lot of contrast on those two pictures above that's why it looked super bright and not pretty. But the original photos even more suck ok. kinda blurred out and the color's not showing. These are the best I could do to save a very poor photos :(

putting on those silver beads into anchor and steering wheel shape was seriously a pain in the ass. And as always, my eyes went @.@" afterward.But, I was happy with the result though. I think I only did my left-hand cos I got lazy after all those silver beads things :( .

Ignore the emo-ish post from the other day. =)

Wanted to blog yesterday but then I don't know how always got distracted with useless and meaningless things and ended up with a super non-productive day!! like seriously, woke up, then played around with my laptop..watched TV Show..ate instant noodles for lunch, then took a nap for 2 freakin' hours!! (please note here, that it was like 12pm, and I just woke up 4 - 5 hours before from 10 hours sleep), after napping, played around with my laptop again, ate instant noodle AGAIN for dinner and watched somemore TV Show..then bbm-ing until 1 AM!!
Super unproductive or what ! always feel a little guilty afterward -__-"

Enough with my rambling.

Did you catch the AMA 2011? I didn't. I've never really watched an award show :p.
Anyway, afterward I read all this fuss about J.Lo performance that night on the internet. Still hadn't got my interest. But then saw on breatheheavy that J.Lo has this nude tight glittery bodysuit just like Britney in VMA 2000. And then decided to watch it. Saw it on perezhilton.

I was like O.O after I watched it. It was AWESOME!! love it max! went to download the performance in HD afterward =)

Some points that I really like to urge you to watch it:

(She sang 3 songs : Until it Beats No More/Papi/On the floor. total is 6 minutes)

the dress she wore on UIBNM

the transition between UIBNM to Papi (I think she ran out of breathe while singing UIBNM though), when she looked down, the music stopped, then she glance at the audience while still head down, gave this super seducing smile (me like), then her flowy gown got pulled away and the beat music of Papi start. I reaaaally love her smile here =)

In Papi, where suddenly got car on stage and she jump in. I like the graphic in the background, really made it looked like she drive around hollywood!

In the middle of Papi when she yell 'STOP' and the music stop. But then the music back and she jump up and down! so fun!

Just simply love the energy here! the crowd went nuts and dance and sing! Oh, and pitbull joined her in the beginning.

and do you know what's amazing? She's freakin' 42!!!!

But still lookin' THAT smoking HAWT!!

She sang LIVE somemore!! well, not completely live, she used double voice (when her mic is on and she sings but there's also the record playing in the background). And she do that while she danced!! In that heels!!

And everyone say it was the best performance of the night. well, no doubt here ;)

Anyway, I read the comments on perezhilton about this performance and 80% of them are negative. why???? you people just plain bitter and jealous one!

I mean, it's okay if you want to criticize, but at least make one that make sense.

There's nothing inappropriate about this performance. Okay, so lady gaga can perform like really almost naked, and it's okay, but then when it comes to Jennifer Lopez it's inappropriate because she's already 42??? Have heard a saying 'Age ain't nothing but a number'? Especially when you're still looking that good in your 40s then why not? that comment is just plain jealous cos you don't look that fit in your 40s!!

And also about the car. They said that it just an annoying product placement. Ok, when I watched it at first, I didn't even know that it was a product placement. I thought it was part of the attribute for the performance. So, no, it's not obvious that the car was a product placement. Some other singer also have done this kinda thing when they perform okay. Miley and her motorcycle? was it a product placement? no. So you just read too much into it -__-". you wouldn't even know that it's a product placement if you don't know that fiat sponsored her in the first place.

It's called NOTD. but it's not actually my nails for today. I did this a couple weeks ago =). I think all my NOTD won't be my actual nail of that day lah.
Anyway, the design isn't originally mine. It's from LOVE4NAILS. I just change the color and rhinestone and the glitter.

Ok. I give up. cannot wait another week to blog! If I wanna blog now, shall I blog, right? Better than just keep thinking about it. If can only think about blogging while doing the mid test, how? will fail one! So, definitely better to just give in and later can concentrate on the mid test well :D *defensive mode*

Ermm, added new tab on side bar. Nail art and project. Still empty though cos I haven't had any post related to it. Will post something about nail art soon and the project have to wait till mid is done.

So, I woke up this morning at 6. Have no class and planned to prepare for algorithm exam but then got distracted to read esther's blog instead --". I've just discovered her blog recently from another blog and have been reading her archive backward for the past few days. I really love her blog. So full of nice picture! anyway, stumble upon a post in which she shares pictures from when she got invited to taste pizza hut's new menu. Ok, it was already like 8, I haven't eaten anything, and this post got SO much yummy tempting food pics! How would you expect me to react?
In my heart kept saying "Damn. Should've just study for mid instead of reading her blog, then wouldn't have to see this yummy pics and drooling over it. Stupid karma!"

After that, I was determined to have either pizza or pasta today. Pasta can cook by myself, but I was just too lazy. Lucky me, my neighbor sell this good homemade pizza and they do delivery too!! don't have to go anywhere. just wait and eat! the best part? It's quite cheap!! Living in a boarding house means I have to really manage my monthly allowance. cheap, yummy, & healthy food ftw!

The place called in_ni pizza. why got '_' ? cos it's actually forming a smile emot.

ordered 'the supreme in_ni'

the supreme in_ni : beef, beef luncheon, hot dog, pepperoni, bell pepper, onion, corn, mushroom, and cheese!!! so much, right! I think it's similar to pizza hut's super supreme.

The taste? Honestly, I can't taste much differences with the pizza hut's one. It got corn somemore. I love having extra topping like corn and onion. They're just so great to chew on :).
It cost me 30000 rupiah only! The size is like the medium size in pizza hut. Pizza hut would've cost 70000-80000! I admit, the price difference might've made me bias about the taste of both, but I swear, it tastes good too.
They also have stromboli too!! I've tried the supreme in_ni in stromboli before, and it taste great!! better than the pizza. I really love their stromboli. Next time I buy the stromboli will take picture of it.

It's 10 pm already and I haven't touch my algorithm at all. meh. will study tomorrow.

Finally made this new blog. had been planning it for months!! So lazy one or what?
My old blog still there, but I'll never put anything to it anymore.
Why?
cos that blog got bunch of craps already, plus I rarely post anything there, thus the blog is so messy and got lots of spam in the chatbox...bottom line, can't stand how messy my old blog that I had to make a new one. And the option of repairing my old blog is just troublesome. so, better just make a new blog.

Anyway, spent like 5 hours to make this one. -__-"...the template took so long. but I'm very happy with the result :D

Planned to start the whole new blog thing once my mid-test done (still one more week), but suddenly felt the urge to at least make the blog first (which I give in). and now, got the urge to start blogging again from today.
But, have to wait till the mid is done, right?ok, will start next week...but I want to blog from now..no..no..have to start next week..focus on mid now..maybe only one post per day ok? no..no..have to wait till mid is done!!!

So, I guess have to hold the urge till next week T.T ...
